Our Advisory Board guides the program’s development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation. Its members are familiar with the genetic counseling profession and the communities our graduates serve They meet annually to review the program and recommend improvements. In keeping with ACGC standards, the board includes program leadership and faculty, at least one member with lived or professional experience with populations underrepresented in genetic counseling, a board-certified medical geneticist, and at least one member external to the program and university.
