This page summarizes the key academic policies that govern the program. Enrolled students receive complete details in the student handbook.
Academic Standing
Graduate students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at all times. The program also sets minimum scholastic standards that students must meet to remain in good standing; these are provided in full in the student handbook.
UConn Academic Regulations
UConn's Graduate School academic regulations.
Requirements for Clinical Placements
Before beginning clinical rotations, matched students must pass a background check, provide documentation of vaccinations and titers (before July 15 and annually while enrolled), and enroll in and maintain an online clinical-compliance tracking system.
Grievances and Harassment
Students are informed of UConn's written policies and procedures for processing grievances and allegations of harassment, and of where to direct concerns through the Office for Inclusion and Civil Rights.
Student Handbook
Enrolled students receive the full student handbook, which contains the program's complete academic standards, progression requirements, and policies on remediation, withdrawal and dismissal, grievances, harassment, support services, and advising.
